Just a little one.

Well i promised some posts would be atheist slanted so here's one. Now before i start, i want to say i understand your point, i really do. i don't GET it, but i understand. its a nice thought that if you're a pussy your entire life who does everything the church tells you you'll be a major bad ass in the afterlife and you'll live forever and get to hang out with Jesus who is supposed to be cooler than Fonzie and Chuck Norris combined. i get it. But let me ask you something. WHY do you believe it? can you answer that? and i wont accept "its how i was raised" or "well doesn't it sound nice" or any other non factual information. i also wont accept "well the bible says its true so its true" that's akin to saying "i found an ancient book that claims its the word of an infallible being and that this being is never wrong so everything in the book is obviously the truth because the book says it is and the book was written by a guy who the book says is never wrong..... so on and so on...." Can you give me one single example of WHY you think its true apart from blind devotion? ill put it this way. if i tell someone i have a baseball and they tell me to prove it, the burden of proof falls on ME i must produce the baseball. but on the other side you say "my god is the only god and hes real and heaven exists" and when asked for proof proceed to scream "YOU CANT PROVE HE ISN'T REAL! I DON'T HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING TO YOU!!! HOW DO YOU KNOW HE ISN'T REAL!?" if you can give me one single real physical FACT proven by science, then ill admit your delusion COULD in fact be real. but "the bible says so" is NOT proof. and while were at it. when someone tells you evolution is a THEORY they mean a SCIENTIFIC theory. a SCIENTIFIC THEORY is not a GUESS, it is a proposition backed up by data and proven many many times. the only reason is isn't a rule is that we've never witnessed it in action directly in front of our eyes as it involves small changes over MILLIONS of years. its not like one day a monkey woke up and he was a human. they gradually changed over time from monkeys to standing more erect got taller lost hair and proceeded to develop intelligence. yet you laugh at us for our "theory" when your example of humanity is "an omnipotent invisible sky king created all creatures including man from DIRT. never mind he COULD have made them from thin air, like he did the animals. nope dirt. man then proceeded to name EVERY species of plant and animal on the planet including all the birds and fish and the billions and billions of species of insects. THEN god made woman out of Adams rib because he was lonely not more dirt like he did Adams FIRST wife Lilith. that's right Adam had a wife BEFORE eve. that's right god made his perfect creation able to feel LONELINESS!" and of course he also gave them the ability to be curious so eve would WANT to eat the fruit on the tree. so let me get this straight, Your perfect all knowing all seeing creator, A: wasn't aware his creations would feel emotions, AND B although he sees/knows everything that has is and will ever happen. and can do anything he couldn't stop eve from eating the apple in the first place? uh hello anyone home?
